Jambo Blast - May 2024 Flooding in Kenya

Dear Friends of Watumull Children’s Education,

Excessive rain has been falling in the country of Kenya, leading to widespread flooding, loss of homes and lives.

Our school families have especially been impacted, living in temporary corrugated metal sheet dwellings, packed together in the slums.  Many have lost everything because of the overflowing rivers.

Watumull Children has brought hundreds of blankets for the homeless, and our schools have been temporary shelters and feeding centers during this emergency.

We are cooking for many extra displaced families.  We have many friends on the ground helping us give out lifesaving support.

Thank you for your funding that makes us able to step up quickly during a crisis such as this one!  We so appreciate your continual generosity in taking care of our vulnerable families!
