Jambo Blast - Sept 2025 Meet Our New Partners!

Dear Friends of Watumull Children’s Fund,

Today our Jambo Blast comes to you from Chao and Nicole Odera, our new WFCF volunteers who have come alongside Chitra to help administer the fund and supervise our many volunteers. Chao has had 25 years of experience working with youth in Kenya and Nicole is originally from Hawaii where she owns and runs a dance school. They live in Nairobi and are thrilled to be helping Chitra impact youth through education!

Chao and Nicole had a board game day for the rescue boys at Bethany school and then Chao shared words of encouragement. 

Combining fun activities and meaningful conversations is a great combo to impact youth.

Chao and Nicole visited Destiny school for Parade Day (all school assembly). Chao shared an encouraging message and Nicole taught dance!

Chao and Nicole visited Voice of Hope Children Center where WFCF supports their children with school fees. Together they shared a lesson on character development and enjoyed dancing with the kids!

We are excited and grateful to be a part of the WFCF team and to support the wonderful work Chitra and Scot are doing in Kenya!
