Dear Friends of Watumull Children’s Fund,
Our schools in Nairobi run from Baby Class (2-3 year olds) until Grade 9. The final 3 years of schooling are traditionally boarding school, where students are sent to high schools all around the entire country in Kenya. The ninth grade national exam determines their placement.
This year, through the Sasha Fund, we are able to send 120 deserving students to high school. A high school diploma is needed to obtain even a job at a restaurant or as a security guard. Most of our students’ families cannot afford High School- about $1800 USD for 3 years-so their education must stop at 9th grade.
Watumull Children’s is committed to sending as many of our students as we can to high school. Here are some of our 2026 Sasha Fund students, leaving tomorrow to finish their last trimester. In their hands they hold the receipt for their fees that you ,our donors, have generously paid.
A $35/month donation over about 4 years will change a child’s future and job opportunities forever. Go to watumullchildren.com and designate “Sasha’s Fund” under the drop down menu. Thank you for caring about these precious young men and women!
