Jambo Blast - May 2026 - Great Winners School

Dear Friends of Watumull Children’s Fund,

These are the streets of the slum called Huruma, in Nairobi.  We traveled there recently to meet two special women running a very special school.

Here are Grace and Winnie, partners in educating the poorest of Kenya’s vulnerable children.  Their 270 students are from broken homes, orphaned and living with HIV, or/and jobless guardians. They have been teachers here in the slums for over 30 years.

       Great Winner’s School just got flooded and lost most everything including their donor support.  These two courageous Kenyans took over and are caring for these students.

We at WFCF bought a water tank and plumbing to install water to the school.  We purchased textbooks, school supplies, and porridge flour.  We are coming alongside of Grace and Winnie so they can help their very needy students.   These are the heroes we are privileged to serve!  Thank you enabling us to so!
