Meet Our New Partners!
Today our Jambo Blast comes to you from Chao and Nicole Odera, our new WFCF volunteers who have come alongside Chitra to help administer the fund and supervise our many volunteers. Chao has had 25 years of experience working with youth in Kenya and Nicole is originally from Hawaii where she owns and runs a dance school. They live in Nairobi and are thrilled to be helping Chitra impact youth through education!

Making a Difference!
Your donor dollars are used in many ways in the very poor schools we are working with. We buy lots and lots of colorful children’s books for our students. Practicing to read is the best way to learn to read, and great Childrens’ books are a rarity in Kenyan classrooms. Our children are blessed to have a collection of them now for every age.
The best way to start the day!
All of our almost 2000 children are served uji, a fortified porridge every morning. For some it is the first thing they have eaten all day. Here you see principal Judy helping to serve as a teacher stirs the hot uji.
Bethany Joy School is Officially Opened!
To all our family and friends of Watumull Children's Education, we are beyond excited to announce that Bethany Joy School in Kawangware, Nairobi has officially opened! February 15, 2023 was an exciting day as we had our grand opening.

Teen Leadership Events
In one week, we were able to hold two Teen Leadership Challenge events and serve over 450 young Kenyans! Our teenage girls leave this day encouraged, with reusable sanitary napkin kits, empowered to aim higher!
