Jambo Blast - March 2026 - Vicky’s Playground

Dear Friends of Watumull Children’s Fund,

This month there has been a flurry of activity in the front yard of Bethany Joy Primary School in Kawangware, Nairobi.

We have opened a brand new playground for our students!  This was a generous birthday gift donation from a wonderful friend in Washington.  It has been 18 months in the planning!

Our students have never seen anything so colorful and fun!  They were a bit scared at first of their new play equipment, but now they climb, hop, jump and hang with joy!

I wish I could bottle up the happiness and excitement expressed on this small piece of turf in the last 2 weeks—it would create smiles for years!

How thankful I am for our wonderful friend who has created this kind of exuberance (and new muscle development !) for 800 schoolchildren!  And how grateful I am to all of you for your incredible support!!!  Smile with our kids today!!!!
